Throughout his career, Bernie has successfully advised numerous retail and CPG supplier companies. He has spearheaded transformative initiatives such as Category Management implementations processes, mitigation of out-of-stocks, price optimization, demand forecasting, change management and organizational restructuring, driving tangible outcomes and sustainable growth for clients.
Bernie’s thought leadership extends beyond their consulting work. He has worked on coupon initiatives and led the team with P & G and Data Ventures in the largest out-of-stock study in the grocery industry. This initiative investigated the causes of out-of- stocks of the top 1,000 warehouse SKUs, across all departments over a six-month period of time. It culminated in giving the keynote address at the Logicon 2004 Retail Summit in the Netherlands.
He holds an MBA in Management and Human Resource Development and has gained extensive consultant experience with suppliers and retailers domestically and internationally from the Dominican Republic, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Israel, Germany, and the US. He has also attended executive courses at the University of Texas, Graduate School of Business, Northwestern, MIT, USC, and at St. Josephs.
